white male, had an 8chan manifesto, supported the christchurch shooter, thinks Texas is being overrun with by immigrants.

Basically, your average everyday MAGA supporter.

    [EDIT]

In an open-carry state, no less. Where's that good guy with a gun when you need him?

Then just hours later another mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio, leaving nine dead.

Appears to be another radicalized white guy with the intent to kill as many people as possible, bouncer tackled him and stopped him from entering the bar where he could have caused a lot more harm.

This is what happens when you let the lewks of the country run around unchecked and unchallenged, allowed to spread their bullshit without repercussions.

One can only hope nobody he cares about was hurt or worse.

Wait, Trump tweeted that "Fake News" comment just this morning?

His speech today was from the teleprompter, blaming video games and mental health, saying "we" need to denounce racism and hate...nothing about how words matter, especially from the bully pulpit. And something about how guns don't pull their own trigger.

Since we don't have a domestic terrorism statute (like we do for international terrorism), it's pretty lame for Trump to say he'll commit federal agencies/funding to rooting out this "evil"....that comes from White Nationalists.

It's time to put safety over the false idea that regulating guns compromises the Second Amendment. Defending easy access misreads the Constitution.

You realize that only works if the reasoning behind the two are identical

Reasoning? The reasoning doesn't really matter. "We like beer, oh and Congress isn't allowed to hold votes on Thursdays." If that amendment was added the we like beer portion has no bearing on if Congress is allowed to vote on Thursday.

The depravity knows no bounds. No one in the hospital would meet with him, so he had to use an orphan as a prop. He turned a tragedy into a political stop all about himself.

A thumbs up in that picture is horrific.

He goes, how dare he use the site of tragedy as a photo op. He doesn't go, how dare he ignore gun deaths. Literally no winning with y'all.

The only thing your response shows is how idiotic and simpleminded your black and white view of reality is.

There's nothing wrong with going. Quite appropriate to go, be somber and speak about the tragedy.

Posing with an orphaned baby whose parents were only just murdered with a goofy grin and a thumbs-up like he's at some sort of jovial awards banquet at Disneyland is something completely different.

Bragging to first responders about crowd sizes for an event that was 6 months ago... also not appropriate.

Are you thick or is there some other reason you don't see the obvious third way?

Trump displays many pathological behaviors: Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Pathological Narcissism, Antisocial Personality Disorder.

    He's not going to change.

Teleprompter Trump will repeat the words of his aides and speech writers (they're his enablers) but he will eventually revert to form on Twitter, blurting his impulses (and lack of core beliefs) in real time.

That's why he posed for a pic with the infant orphan while making a "thumbs up" gesture. He was only thinking of himself, and his image. When it got "bad press", he blamed his aides. They failed to enable him as an image-maker, which fits in nicely with the press/media as the enemy narrative: no personal responsibility or accountability required. That's what con-men do.
