A Virginia sixth grader who claimed three of her white male classmates held her down and cut off her dreadlocks is now saying she made up the entire story.

Amari Allen, an African-American 12-year-old who attends Immanuel Christian School in Springfield — a private school where second lady Karen Pence teaches art — reported the alleged incident last week. She told several media outlets that three boys at school pinned her down and cut off her hair, and local police opened an investigation.

"They said my hair was nappy and I was ugly," she told WRC-TV. "They put their hands over my mouth. They put my hands behind my back. And they started cutting my hair and saying it was ugly."

The girl's grandmother said she was doing Amari's hair one day when she realized portions of her dreadlocks were missing, which is when the girl told the story.

"It was like she just died. That's how painful it was for me," the girl's grandmother, said after the girl made the allegations.

Her grandfather said his "heart just broke" and that he "was just paralyzed."

But on Monday, her family released a statement saying the accusations made by the 12-year-old girl had been fabricated.

“To those young boys and their parents, we sincerely apologize for the pain and anxiety these allegations have caused,” said a statement from the girl's grandparents obtained by The Washington Post. “To the administrators and families of Immanuel Christian School, we are sorry for the damage this incident has done to trust within the school family and the undue scorn it has brought to the school. To the broader community, who rallied in such passionate support for our daughter, we apologize for betraying your trust.”

The family added they "understand there will be consequences and we’re prepared to take responsibility for them. We know that it will take time to heal, and we hope and pray that the boys, their families, the school and the broader community will be able to forgive us in time.”

The school generated a statement that said, "We can now confirm that the student who accused three of her classmates of assault has acknowledged that the allegations were false."

"We’re grateful to the Fairfax County Police Department for their diligent work to investigate these allegations,” wrote Stephen E. Danish, the head of the school. “While we are relieved to hear the truth and bring the events of the past few days to a close, we also feel tremendous pain for the victims and the hurt on both sides of this conflict. We recognize that we now enter what will be a long season of healing.”

The 12-year-old, WRC reported, is a straight-A student and violin player who has attended the private Christian school since kindergarten.

Ah yes a new fake hate hoax. Original story retweeted over and over again (including by parts of the Squad in Congress) and guess what... ANOTHER LIE. Good grief, when will people start looking at these claims with some skepticism.

The media fixates on the most outrageous claims, but those are also the ones most likely to be hoaxes (this one sounded suspicious from the start).

I get that media likes to run with the most attention grabbing story they can. But how they run the story, what stories they run and the verbiage they put in the headlines matter.

The original NYT article had the headline reading: "Black Virginia Girl says White Classmates Cut her Dreadlocks on the Playground"

When it is revealed to be a hoax the headline says: "Virginia Girl Recants Story of Boys Cutting Off Her Dreadlocks"

    No agenda pushing here though...

Um, this was only a story because of the race angle. Which of those two titles is inaccurate?

Stay consistent. If you are going to put the racial components in the title for the first one do it for the next one. "Black Virginia Girl recants story of white boys cutting off her dreadlocks"

*shrug* Anyone who's been paying attention to the story would be aware of that angle.

Update: Ontario Provincial Police say they have no record of the September 2017 incident involving Javaid being reported to them.

A Muslim hockey coach’s story about being the victim of a parent’s hateful text message is falling apart upon scrutiny and the revelation he made a similar allegation in 2017.

Last week, Talha Javaid, a 23-year-old immigrant from Pakistan who lives in Windsor, Ontario, posted screenshots on Twitter purported to be a text from a bigoted parent unhappy with the free coaching sessions he provides to children in East Lansing, Michigan.

“I’m not racist or anything but I don’t feel comfortable with you teaching him and the influence you will have on him,” a parent named “Chase” allegedly wrote. The text continues: “It’s hockey right? It makes more sense if it’s not some Muslim guy teaching it.”

Javaid’s tweet went viral. Within a week, his post racked up more than 11,000 retweets and more than 56,000 likes. An outpouring of support came from the public, hockey stars and journalists, who praised Javaid and condemned racism and Islamophobia. He received job offers to coach in both Canada and the U.S.

Feminist Muslim writer Shireen Ahmed first publicized Javaid’s story for Yahoo Sports. In the sympathetic profile, it details how Javaid travels an hour-and-a-half across the Canada-U.S. border from Windsor, Ont. to provide free coaching sessions for hockey players age five to eight in East Lansing.

But key facts in Javaid’s story don’t add up. This week, Christiana Ford at NBC-affiliate WILX-TV reported that all ice rinks in East Lansing and the surrounding area deny having ever heard of Talha Javaid, or someone on the coaching schedule with that name. The Post Millennial can independently confirm this.

While the Yahoo Sports profile of Javaid doesn’t name the specific ice rink in Michigan that he allegedly coaches at, a source in communication with him provided The Post Millennial with screenshots where he names Suburban Ice East Lansing as the arena.

Suburban Ice East Lansing strongly denies any association with Javaid.

“We’ve never heard of him,” a staff woman tells The Post Millennial. “He never taught here. He had no ties to Suburban Ice whatsoever.”

Javaid’s “best friend” and co-coach volunteer who is named as “Sebastian Nystrom” in the Yahoo profile, also could not be located. Reporter Shireen Ahmed did not respond to inquiries seeking comment on how she verified Javaid’s claims.

This is not the first time Javaid has claimed to be the victim of a racist message after leaving an ice rink. In September 2017, he said he found a note on his car after leaving the Tecumseh Arena that read: “Stop coming to the rink! (Expletive, expletive) Muslim! Go Home! Make Canada Great Again. MAGA. MCGA.” He posted a photo of the note on Twitter and spoke to the media. A suspect was never identified.

Javaid’s original tweet last week generated over 10,000 responses overwhelmingly in support of him. But by Thursday afternoon, he locked his Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts. He did not respond for comment.

Jussie 0.1 (since it happened before Jussie's hate hoax).

"ALBANY — The former University at Albany students who were convicted of falsely reporting a hate crime on a CDTA bus last year avoided jail time Friday, and instead received a sentence of probation, community service and a fine.

The possibility of jail time for Ariel Agudio and Asha Burwell loomed large over Friday's sentencing in Albany County Court, where spectators and supporters of the women packed a standing room-only gallery. The Albany County Probation Department had recommended a split sentence for the women — time in jail followed by time on probation."

This is what happens when society has no interest in the truth and dismisses evidence, including video evidence, as some kind of a hoax. Time to look in the mirror, Lewk.

Nah, Lewk is happy to live with circus mirrors and "alternative" facts. He's been primed and ready for the cultural wars since he said The Bible is the best education years ago (and made that his signature). The only thing that's changed since then is that Fox News is now MSM Trump TV, expanding the bubble and echo chamber of disinformation. Straight outta the KGB propaganda handbook.

I don't even remember, but was it this quote?

"A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education."

The guy who said it accomplished quite a bit more than either of us.

Yeah, that used to be your signature, so stop pretending you don't remember.

Jussie 4.0 though this one is along the male/female "persecution" perspective instead of racial.

"SUMTER, S.C. (WIS) - A woman running for mayor in Sumter now faces criminal charges after police say she staged her own kidnapping and beating to get “publicity, sympathy and votes in the November election.”

Sabrina Belcher, 29, carried out the stunt on Facebook live, police say, with help from 34-year-old Christopher Eaddy.

Around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Belcher reported to police that she was assaulted and kidnapped by a man she didn’t know, who also tried to rob her."

The Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office has charged Kaliyeha A. Clark-Mabins with filing a false police report resulting in three counts of disorderly conduct, which is a felony."

A serious issue though is that many people refuse to use any cognizant behavior when someone makes an outrageous claim. The hoax travels further and faster than the truth can ever hope for. So I am pretty certain this girl's lies will become part of someone's 'truth'.
    Congratulations America
