3d printers
My woodworking plans have been postponed, so I'm considering getting a 3d printer to play around with instead (looking at Elegoo Neptune Pro rn).
Do you—or does anyone you know—own a 3d printer? If you own one, what kinds of useful or fun things have you printed with it?
My neighbour has had a 3d printer for a while, and, afaict, he's constantly printing stuff for his house (including important components in his ventilation system). A couple of my friends are into cosplay, boardgames, tabletop RPGs and other assorted dorkery, for which they often print out props. I'd be printing out prototypes every now and then, various home-improvement doodads, and—of course—toys for the lil mad scientist. Maybe a couple of models to aid in student and resident training.
