I just don't like them having that much power AND being so dependent on their schedule.

Probably not. I don't remember it clearly; I do remember looking into it, and ruling out your 'use the image button' idea, and I tried some stuff on that side but couldn't make anything that didn't look like shit. Also, people have been using [shot] for years. I don't think we had a button for it at the other place, so I don't see that it matters too much, and it probably wouldn't get used much here anyways.
