Texas city revives paddling punishment in public school

Granted, but ultimately the idea is to avoid stupidity entirely. But that's probably not an achievable goal until you get out of public school.

I guess that's where our beliefs diverge. I've always thought that no matter how much money I made or how influential i became, my only lasting legacy would be my children.

Whatever makes you happy, I guess. Never saw the point of a legacy myself, given that you won't be around to enjoy it.

Frankly, I'd gladly spend such a large sum on them if it meant being loved the way i love my parents.

Well, if it's unconditional love you want, I can get you a great deal on a puppy - my neighbors don't have a home security system. Puppies are great for unconditional love... you can beat the crap out them and they still love you like you're the only person on earth, lick you all over and so on. Come to think of it, that applies to dating a stripper too. There ya go - get a puppy and a stripper.
