STALKER 2 has been cancelled and the development company has been shutdown by the CEO

    Fuck fuck fuckity fuck.
The light that once I thought compassion still casting shadows in your action
The words you shared were cold transactions that bring me to curse what you've done
When you're up there absorbed in greatness with such success you've grown complacent
I hope you scorch your many faces when you fly too close to the sun

I've been told that Skyrim was selling for 20 pounds on Game today.
Hope is the denial of reality

  4. #1714
Game and Gamestop are both selling Skyrim for half-price currently (£22.49)

I don't buy games in May/Early June and Nov/Dec as I get them as birthday/Christmas presents, so I can't buy it.

  5. #1715
The PC version is 19.99. It's still selling for $60 here (or about 38 pounds).

Give it a few days, Game somehow is commonly able to ink out impressive sale deals before other merchants (even Steam has to hold back releases because of them), and the Steam Christmas sale starts soon. Some online distributors I believe start their sales Monday. We'll get our chance.

Well, my fiancee bought the game, so there's no need for me to worry about that.

I've been engaged for nearly a year, but thanks all the same.

Until the last year or so, I had to buy games for her in the US because they were much cheaper than in the UK. For some reason, the tide has reversed in the last year (and not by just the change in the exchange rate).

(New) games have pretty much been £30-35 for as long as I can remember.

In the past, I mostly looked at DS games and PC games that cost around $40 in the US (i.e. not the top-selling games). The price would generally be the same in dollars and pounds (i.e. a $25 game would cost 25 pounds).

Took me 89 hours, but I finally finished Plants vs Zombies GOTY and all its achievements.

Oh, that makes sense. It's like when eating. No difference between a spoon or a fork anyway; might as well use a spork. For cutting, too.

Amazon has Dungeon Siege 3 for $5 tonight. Heard its a pretty good game if you have a controller.

I'm not sure what's funnier: the bug, or how the guy whaled on the bear

GOG is giving away Empire Earth for free for the next couple of days, you only need to get the website to load.

The Eve example in the first link is small fry. Shit like that goes down all the damn time in that crazy game if the stories are true.

    Edit:
and of course EVE is as the top of the next link

    Defence Grid

    Hopelessly addictive tower defence game.

I've been playing Myth Defence on my android phone for months now, which is absolutely superb. I figured if a tower defence game is good on a phone, it's gotta be better on the ol' PC. And it is.

Myth Defence does not like Ice Cream Sandwich

This game is awesome, they work pretty close with Valve, and it just got a Portal DLC addition a day or so ago.
