    From wikipedia:

Conservapedia hosts the "Conservative Bible Project", a project aiming to rewrite the English translation of the Bible in order to remove terms described as "liberal bias".[87] The project intends to remove sections of the Bible which are judged by Conservapedia's founder to be later liberal additions.[9] These include the story of the adulteress in the Gospel of John in which Jesus declares "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone".[87] The project also intends to remove Jesus's prayer on the cross, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing", since it appears only in the Gospel of Luke and since, according to Schlafly, "the simple fact is that some of the persecutors of Jesus did know what they were doing. This quotation is a favorite of liberals but should not appear in a conservative Bible".[87] The adulteress story and the "forgive them" line are missing from many early manuscripts, and many modern textual scholars consider that they are not authentic parts of the gospels, though possibly historically valid.[88][89]

Whatcha reckon, is this an appropriate approach to Biblism?
"One day, we shall die. All the other days, we shall live."

No. If you wanna rewrite scripture, you've gotta pretend like you had a revelation from the sky pixie first. You can't just be like 'olol change it because liberals'. That'll never fly.
The light that once I thought compassion still casting shadows in your action
The words you shared were cold transactions that bring me to curse what you've done
When you're up there absorbed in greatness with such success you've grown complacent
I hope you scorch your many faces when you fly too close to the sun

It seems they'll have to remove all of the first four gospels of the New Testament. After all, Jesus didn't discriminate against the poor and handicapped. That's probably too liberal for them.

Jesus was a liberal. So how about eliminating Jesus?

People are forever rewriting and retranslating the thing. No surprise here that some groups are more ignorant and nutty than others.

Well, no, because he didn't advocate governmental interference to [blah], but we've been over this before.

Jesus was a liberal not a communist/socialist which didn't exist in his time. For his own time though he was extremely liberal. There is no way at all Jesus could rightly be described as conservative.

You could look back at any ancient liberals and say "they're not because they don't like [todays extreme ideas]", doesn't take away what they were at the time. Under your logic Gladstone wasn't a liberal, because we've moved on from the 19th century already.

Why do conservative Chrisitians want to legislate god's will if Jesus didn't advocate it?

Also - conservopedia? Really? Is the tag line - "facts politically spun?"
