The only problem with Pork is that it is quite fatty. It tastes delicious of course, but all things should be had in moderation!

I find Bacon far to salty personally, dislike the taste as well and that applies with pork in general. I wouldn't turn down pork if it was the only thing offered to me, but if i had a choice i'd say no straight away. I actually can't remember the last time i had pork either.

Sausages not so much - my son amused me greatly the other day by asking me for bangers and mash for dinner. I'm not entirely sure where he got that one from, but I'm used to him saying things and being puzzled about how he ever heard them. And he didn't get what he wanted, either.

For anyone who thinks bacon is too fatty, you should try beef bacon. Tastes the same, and has way less salt and fat.

Beef Bacon? Is that like Beef Jerky? What the hell is British Bacon?
Canadian Bacon is good. Turkey Bacon sucks.
No, it looks and tastes just like real bacon, only it's made from beef. I know they had it in Whole Foods Market. And British bacon is much thicker and meatier. Doesn't taste anything like American bacon. Canadian bacon is kind of in between.

I need to dig out my recipe for pork tenderloin with lime sauce. Heavy on cream and butter but it's to die for.
Never heard of beef bacon.
