World ends tomorrow. Anyone make plans for how they're spending their last moments before the self-transforming machine elves come to take you away?

It's not happening yet overhere in Istanbul.
Congratulations America
Last day of work before break, I've worked diligently to have as few patients as possible left on the stroke ward so I shall spend the day twiddling my thumbs, sorting out paperwork and then heading off into town with my schnookums to buy last-minute prezzies and some good food, yummy wine
and then
maybe play gw2or reading about the wave of suicides

Ok, it's gone midnight about an hour ago here Merrie(e) Engelande. At the moment, there's a massive thunderstorm and everything has an eerie blood red tinge. I can hear a sound that might be laughter, screaming or crying just on the edge of the audible range, as though from a great distance. A couple of glasses just shattered for no descernable reason and the TV is, quite frankly, behaving extremely strangly. Every time lightning flashes I can see strange things moving in the sky. These visions are too dinstant and too brief to say what they truly are or might represent, but I what I can say is that there are things moving in the skies above England right now that should not even be alive. All my life, I have prided myself on being a rational man, a thicker, a skeptic, above the petty supersitions of lesser men. But the true nature of reality hinted at by the events of the past hour chills my soul. My soul. Ha. An mere hour ago I would have nothing but scorn for the notion for anyone speaking of souls. I was wrong, so very wrong and I fear I may soon be about to pay a price for that error which is to terrible to comprehend. I am so scared. For those I love, for my species, but above all for myself.
Pretty normal Thursday night, basically. Anyway, I'll keep watching in case there are any signs of the apocalypse and then go to bed.
(ba-dum-tish)
Here all night, folks.
The light that once I thought compassion still casting shadows in your action
The words you shared were cold transactions that bring me to curse what you've done
When you're up there absorbed in greatness with such success you've grown complacent
I hope you scorch your many faces when you fly too close to the sun
Aside from the high winds, it's been pretty safe and sound here in Canada.
I'm sorry to hear, OG.
The annoying part is that everyone at work is bothering me about why I came in today. I've got 7 aunts and uncles, I'm one of like 30 something grandkids. Her arrangements are well taken care of. What the fuck does everyone expect me to be doing? My entire department is gone, I'm the only one handling the website and the social media till after the new year. For once I have actual work to do, and no one in my immediate area to pester me about other project suggestions.
but thanks for the internet sad facessorry about the thread wraith

And watered heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the lamb make thee?
OG.
It felt a little strange to write the dates 12-12-12, and 12-21-12. The number repeats won't happen again until the next century.![]()
Nothing strange happened though.
