the point i was making is that tags are vandalism, but not all vandalism means tags. Using loaded terms like tags reinforces to lewk's trolling.

not splitting hairs at all. i pointed out one of the many reasons its so hard to have honest debates here.

This guy may have been a published artist with works in museums and libraries around the state, but I guessing he didnt considered himself the next picaso. Nor has anyone defended his actions here, even if some of it can be chalked up to natural flight behavior.

That however doesn't justify the idea of using incorrect/sensational terminology because it better fits to further criminalize ones actions in your mind, much less defend its use once corrected.

Okay, we can just use vandalize. That good? It gets him the same punishment. Well normally, in this case he died by accident in the course of an arrest.
