    Default Slogans, Mantras, Memes...

That have become so hackneyed that you're tired of them. Some of mine include:

    New and Improved!
Do you have a preferred customer card?
    What's in your Wallet?
    Working for the American People!

    Add your personal peeves.

I will never buy a mazda because of the annoying "Zoom Zoom" .... I hate that.

And my previous employer.... "Keep Climbing".... I can't stand that.

On a serious note, I don't mind it when ads have some slogan that's related to their product. What's annoying is when they come up with creative crap whose entire intent is to sound catchy.

I'm often amused/annoyed by those corporate slogans designed by HR thinking it will boost moral, like when I arrived at work there'd be a fancy sign saying some vague, fancy slogans that 'embody' the company spirit. It's rather silly, it's not a visitor entrance of any kind (not even a reception).. But maybe I'm biased due to all the complaints about friction between management and HR, and the technical staff. I think it's mostly an American thing,I know my dad and his colleagues poke fun at similar things at Dow chemical.

"Facilitate" Good grief I'm learning to hate that word.

The i-crap and e-junk are equally annoying. The people who come up those names should have been punched in the face for those choices.

Internal company and government slogans are the worst. Partly because, unlike public/advertising slogans, it's harder to openly mock them.

I dunno about that. It's pretty easy to openly mock Walmart employee "Associates" when they do so themselves.

    "Safety First!"

Not if I can help it!

Data does show. Rarely proves though.
