I got into a conversation with a friend and it led to me looking for a link to the Stone Mountain Laser show so she'd know what the fuck I was talking about.
The last time I went was in 2009, they've upgraded the experience quite a bit, apparently - you can go through this guy's numbered videos without me linking them all.
I was a little amused by the way they redid Elvis's American Trilogy from the old version, the reunification symbolization is now much shorter (that's in video 2).
edit: I don't know if the ra-ra patriotism bits in the later videos were just because of this being recorded on Independence Day. If they are always there now that I'm near the end it seems a bit more heavy-handed than it used to be.

Been a few times. First time I went there I couldn't stop laughing how they built an amusement park around some random rock that was so insanely out of place.
