Must've been a proper bunch of moron electricians because who in the world does mistake the cabling for three-phase alternating current for the usual (one-phase) alternating current system?
I mean, it's easy to discern: Three-phase AC has four wires in the cables and "normal" AC has three or two wires. They're also colour coded. And only a bloody idiot wouldn't connect neutral (usually blue) to neutral.
