Cain, Loki and anyone else in the Tri-State Area
Cain and Loki, we're all within a half day drive, assuming Cain's not lying for some paranoid reason. You guys want to have lunch some time? Like in RL? I'll buy. Loki, I understand you don't have a car but I'm sure we could meet down there in farm country. I promise I won't try to kill, maim, kidnap or otherwise harm either of you. And if anyone else out there lives nearby, you're invited too.

I always forget that I've actually met about four or five folks from here...was fun all around, though oddly enough sometimes I forget that I've met some of you.
If you live in Southern Michigan, the tri-state area is North West Ohio, North East Indiana and South Michigan. I presume tri-state areas are wherever three states border each other. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea, but I don't know when I'd be able to get away (%$&^ing economy) - I haven't even been able to make the 90 minute drive to Cincinnati for casino gambling in a year and a half or so.

Columbus is the tech capital of the Midwest... maybe even the biggest concentration of tech companies and jobs outside of Silicon valley. And frankly, when you're fleeing socialist insanity and punitive taxation... Ohio's not a bad place to go to (lower third of states WRT state taxation). It's immigrating to some socialist hell hole like California or NY that wouldn't make any sense. Like fleeing the USSR and moving to Cuba, or something.

Loki is in the largest university literally to be situated right in a corn field. It is actually alarming (or at least it was in the early 80s, last I was there.)
