Probably not. I don't remember it clearly; I do remember looking into it, and ruling out your 'use the image button' idea, and I tried some stuff on that side but couldn't make anything that didn't look like shit. I don't remember what you provided at all, but if you had anything there when I was looking into it, I tried to use it and it didn't work out.
Also, people have been using [shot] for years. I don't think we had a button for it at the other place, so I don't see that it matters too much, and it probably wouldn't get used much here anyways.
If [shot] were the default instead of [img] there would be no side-scroll issue. If it isn't hard to do why not do it?
