Unless you preordered it, wait until the first patch comes out. Treyarch dropped the ball and built in some massive performance issues. It's stuttering like hell, and that's in 1024x768 with everything set to low or off (which I reverted to the default values since it doesn't seem to make a difference). A nice little perk of Brandy working out of our home is that she gets to be online a little more, and she has taken up entering online contests.
There is this one contest for toaster strudels. they are giving away a free months worth of strudels. Brandy has won twice, once for her, and once for me. They sent us coupons. Publix this past week has been doing Buy 1 Get 1 Free Strudels. So we used the rest of the coupons we had and walked out of Publix with 12 free boxes of Strudels. I love how they honor their sales and coupons at the same time

Interview went fairly well.
Position is in a high-profile team dealing with Global Risk. Stuff that I know very little about. It's on the business side of the fence rather than IT or Tech Services.
Offices are on what I discovered to be an 'exclusive' floor of the building - the 40th - which are quite the most plush office settings I've ever seen, quite different to other floors I've visited when I head up there on occasion
Salary isn't quite as much of an increase as what I asked for, but it seems I will be at a level slightly higher than the average for the banding, so no worries there since I'm moving up a band.
Been told to think about it till monday, then call and let them know and they'll formalise the offer - likely to start in the new year.

I'm on the X360, no stuttering for me I can report. I had an minor issue with getting in lobbies but i put that down to me trying to play it at 1am after the midnight release. Last two days have ran really well and the matchmaking system is working an absolute dream after i had changed the search to 'Locale' first.
What do you think of it apart from the stuttering? I personally think it's a massive improvement on Modern Warfare 2. I'm enjoying the game a lot more now they've got rid of a lot of perks (also changed a few perks). I'm also having a lot of fun with the customisation aspect of the game too! Found my weapon of choice already (AUG with a Suppressor) but I'm yet to get my perk setup to how i like it.

I haven't noticed any issues with the PS3 version.
I like this one a lot better too, multi-player wise.
Seems to have removed everything that kind of wrecked MW2 for me...noob-tubes, OP perks and killstreaks, etc..
Still too early to tell for sure, but I'm enjoying it much more so far.
I like the contracts, neat idea, and am looking forward to the wager matches, which seem like a lot of fun.
Campaign wise, think the story is better than MW2, (which I found absurd), but think MW2 was a bit better with the actual gameplay.
Not of fan of respawning enemies, which occurs frequently.
Still, good game, prefer it over-all.

Took a few weeks, but I think I've gotten the drive to Ocean's school and then to work figured out. For a car thats rated 24/32, I'm getting 26-28 MPG with strictly city driving
Winter orientation is next week, so another road trip back up to the uni to get classes scheduled and all that jazz. It makes the trip even better knowing that my fiancée is coming back with me to SC to spend the entire week of Thanksgiving. More time for us to go do things and more time for the family to get to know her.

Today is National Gaming Day @ Your Library, and the room is open. Half a day so far without issues, and people are actually using it!The permanent game room I've been pushing for at the library is almost ready. The walls are finished and they've hung sort sort of wire design on them that supports displaying materials, I've got a TV stand, 42" LCD, and a locking case for the console (currently going to be a PS2), and some rocker chairs. The steering committee in charge of policies has to get with legal to iron out the rules, and someone better find the damn TV plug, but it looks like I'll be all set to open up on National Gaming Day
