I'll miss Tear's contributions. Maybe there was complicated drama that flew over my head or was behind the scenes. I didn't see him as disruptive as others did, apparently. Hell, I miss that pissant Cain writing rants sometimes, too!

Maybe I thought his renal failure and transplant explained a lot. Those things would make any of us here....temperamental. Anyone on long term steroid use (plus the cocktail of meds he was taking) can make some people emotionally labile, manic, sleepless, jittery, even angry. This forum was probably one place in the world he could "let it all hang out" and vent, even be a jerk sometimes (who among us hasn't done that?). I hope he finds another alternative for that. Can he still lurk as a guest?

You don't have to be a psychologist to see his posting behavior was erratic during his slow renal failure. Or that pre and post kidney transplant, his emotions and demeanor were literally on a roller coaster ride, up and down. Some from electrolyte imbalances, some from medications. Maybe y'all don't personally know how renal failure or electrolyte/metabolic imbalance can influence a person's mentation or behavior.

Minx should have known and given a certain allowance for that, I would think. Ironic that he was reluctant to use medical allowances for a veteran poster, and it ended in banning a long time valuable member. One of the few people who could talk to him in scientific medical terms. Strange and sad, huh.

I didn't bring it up because that's something intensely personal and it's not cool to go around making assumptions like that when dealing with a stranger, except when it's entertaining. I don't find renal failure and uremia entertaining so I didn't bring it up or make assumptions. Instead, I deliberately treated Tear as the reasonable poster he purported to be rather than as the diagnoses I imagined him to be. I try to extend the same courtesy to everyone except Loki, because, you know. You'll note that I'm usually careful to not speculate about your psychiatric issues either.

Exceptionally mean? I called her on her BS and she continued to post (but not defend her BS claim) after that. I can't imagine Ness as being so thin-skinned as to take offence at that.
