That's what I'm trying to do instead of getting sucked into labels and name-calling that Fuzzy and I exchanged earlier, or arguments you and I have had, or Cain's continued inflammatory language after reading Site Discussion. Let's just Do It, shall we?

I don't know, why don't you ask the person who said "Your reply is duly noted. Go back to braiding imaginary beards, or your own ass hair. " about 13 posts ago? The fact that you are asking about civility in this thread is mind-boggling.

Sure, okay. Sorry I had thin skin, after so many digs to my intelligence or whatever.

    Dear Little Fuzzy,
I apologize for getting testy after your reply about me (or who said evil first) instead of keeping on topic. I'm sorry I lost my temper and was snarky. I didn't intend to let my 'feelings' be hurt by what you said, and shouldn't have said that. I was out of line and I'll try to do better.

    Dear Cain,
I'm sorry I got tired and lazy and called you an asshole, back there << pages before our new Civility Effort. It's not any more "civil" to suggest seeking help from mental health professionals, as literary license. Please join me in our new Civility, and refrain from using inflammatory or derogatory verbiage, or personal "attacks". Let's "attack" our problems and not each other. Deal?

Just so you're not surprised... or at least can't claim you didn't have fair warning...

So, anyway, about those evil millionaire FedEx drivers that ignore our omniscient government's safety regulations to crush the poor, oppressed, proletariat...

    Noted.

So, anyway, about those evil millionaire FedEx drivers that ignore our omniscient government's safety regulations to crush the poor, oppressed, proletariat...
    1) Fed Ex drivers aren't made millionaires by being Fed Ex drivers.
    2) There's nothing evil about being a millionaire or making legitimate money.
    3) Neither Government nor Corporate America is omniscient.
    4) Safety Regulations help protect the working poor and desperate worker from being crushed, injured, killed.
    5) Business can thrive and make money without ignoring or imperiling their employees' health and safety.

So that whole thing about the FedEx drivers just sailed way over your head, as usual, then?

Go reread OG's post (#26) and then yours (#29), and see if you can piece together the meaning of that end bit in my post (#36). As a bonus hint, I'll tell you it's the same point I was making in my viciously "uncivil" post (#28). And good luck... I sincerely want to you to figure this one out.

Okay, but post # 36 was

which doesn't address either millionaires, safety regulations, management, or 'omniscient' government regulations. It doesn't even address how workers can be "oppressed" or endangered.

Beyond that, what am I supposed to be figuring out?

Your post #28 isn't even worth quoting, so if that's your only point, then.....

    I suppose that figures.

In that case, a hearty and sincere "j00s" to the both of you and a heartfelt "meh" at neither of you being able to grasp even the simplest of reasons for your mind-numbingly obvious fallaciousness.

I'm curious to see how you explain mind-numbingly obvious fallaciousness, Cain. Without using more derogatory terms aimed at personal attacks.

Please, do proceed....several options are available to you. Deny there's corporate corruption, deny there's political corruption, deny that money is power, deny that money as power can corrupt. Deny all that, and proceed to give us your vision of the future and moving forward.....

    What is this, dueling threads?

Cain, do you do deny there's corporate corruption, or crony capitalism, or bipolar and paralyzed government?

Whom do you think is driving the national discussion.....?

Too bad the Report Complaint button isn't working properly. Maybe it will work in the forum upgrade.
