You calling me a Scrooge? Well, that's not unreasonable. I find the whole practice of Christmas to be utter bull shit, with most original meaning lost under an astounding sedimentation of commerce and maudlin tripe. Consequently, I enjoy Christmas for about three days.

And we still have a youtube thread.

Who cares about the "original meaning?"

I don't even give a shit about the presents (that's probably a good thing, considering), but Christmas would be a total waste without the How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

I should have known better, but for a second there I was afraid you linked to the 2000 movie. Sorry for the nanosecond of doubt

    Never.

I provided the link to prevent that from happening.

But how can they not have everybody saying "yeah right IMMACULATE CONCEPTION bwaha!" Isn't that what the internet is best at? Mocking girls who get knocked up and then try to explain it away by saying, "uh, no, I didn't have sex with anybody"?

Me. It is hard not to get caught up in the commercialism, though.

Isn't that backward? The movie would be a waste without Christmas in the first place.....
