Default Anyone here know a bit about basic circuits?

Basically, I need to increase a potential in the milliVolts area to 1.5 Volts in order to drive a LED. I've also read that I'd need an op-amp for that.

Anyone ever done something like that? Will submit further info if someone answers "yes"

Not in practice, but I learned the theory. The scheme is actually quite easy, you just need the right resistors and a non-inverting amp.

I've had to calculate thema few years ago, but honestly, I forgot most by now.

Oh, btw, you should also consider how many amperes you want to suck out of your OP.
