Don't forget to spend time with family, visit friends and eat delicious food until you almost burst (wait a while and then eat some more). And if you see any Muslims, "Eid Mubarak" the hell outta them with your best smile. I once had a friend who didn't and he was cursed with 7 years of bad fuck and died from unhappiness!!!

It really sucks that Ramadan is falling in the summer. I remember in the heady days of the Afghan invasion when Ramadan was in October and the days were shorter (I only remember because there was a debate over whether we would be insensitive to keep invading them during Ramadan).
Now that it's happening in fracking August, I just feel bad for Muslims fasting during such long daylight hours.

They should switch to a lunar-solar calendar and then there wouldn't be this issue. Ramadan could always be in January.
