The bride-to-be hasn't confirmed her participation on Google, therefore it's not happening.
Hope is the denial of reality

I'm afraid I'll have to skip the wedding, but I'm sure it will be lovely.

    But, for now...

    GO TO BED!
We're stuck in a bloody snowglobe.

Yay, it's happening! I would literally do this Hangout (is that what the deal is?) but I'm actually about to board a train for a wedding followed by a cheap post-wedding beach party. Have fun!

The streaming didn't work alas but apart from that everything went off more or less without a hitch (well, there was just one other ). We've run off to Paris and are waiting for the official photos but, in the meantime, here are a couple of unofficial ones:

Needless to say, i got the best part of this deal, but, as before, i try every day to be worthy of this incredible woman who has for the past three years lit up my life like a second sun and helped me see all that is beautiful and good in it <3

Be warned there will be many more pics in the coming weeks

    My condolences!
When the stars threw down their spears
And watered heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the lamb make thee?

I took a cab to pick up my princess and the whole way there the old sour kurdish cab driver kept saying that and similar things at first i thought he was bitter and jaded but i could see love was pulling at his heart too there was no overshadowing the bride. I was more overtly blingy but she shone like a star rather than a magpie's nest <3 turbans are warm but warmly recommended btw

On the madame's head is a silver crown of glingy birch-leaves that her grandmother made for her mum once upon a time. That and about fifty metal pins of different shapes, sizes and kinds. I have learned that a skilled hairdresser is basically a kind of engineer

I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. Is that a Swedish tradition or just something specific to her family?

The florist is just as skilled as the hairdresser. They matched the bride's bouquet to the groom's attire so perfectly that it's not overtly noticeable.

Thank you, thank you! Pics are slowly rolling in and this link should work even if you don't have facebook:

She was beautiful and wore her magic henna tattoo of enchanting (love spells last 9,000x longer). I was confused but happy to be alive

Thank you, I picked the flowers, vain man that I am It was very educational I dunno 'bout crowns, I reckon they were more common before but I don't think it's very common to have one made by your granny.

    So many beautiful details, everywhere!

Was your costume hand-sewn, including your spiffy green slipper shoes?
Does her necklace have a special meaning, was it hand-made too?

Didn't notice the henna tattooing at first, hiding behind her floral bouquet...but it's lovely (and matches her hair color!)

oh yeah, and how did you decide on your facial hair?

I'm assuming those were your sisters I saw in those, I can't believe how big they've gotten (and I suddenly understand why people say that when they see the sprouts).

    I hope that's permanent ink.

Henna matches hair color for the win!

BTW, how did it work out with the location and the whole parking thing?

The costume wasn't tailor-made but knowing Bangladesh it was all mostly hand-made anyway :'(

Yes, and yes. My maternal grandfather had it made by a friend of his for my mother. It was supposed to be a sort of wedding gift but he died before she was married and she's never worn it. It was both old and new so to speak

oh yeah, and how did you decide on your facial hair?
Necessity is the mother of non-shaving

Yeah it's kinda unnerving tbh! I take some solace in the knowledge that they will be taller than I am.

It's okay it just has to be there at the time of casting

We managed to get permits for most of the people who had to drive, almost everyone else went by bus, tram or boat. Easier and faster that way

Turns out the album wasn't working for some people so here's photobucket to the rescue:
