No, it's almost as if I'm living in the real world and realize the actual alternatives people face. Very poor families in these kind of countries usually need an additional source of income, and if that means forcing their child to work, then they will make the child work. If that child is not able to work in the mainstream economy, then they will work outside it. That's just the reality Minx, and denying it isn't going to help anyone but the hippies that like to feel good about themselves by forcing hundreds of thousands in the developing world into prostitution and crime. In fact, there was a study conducted about a decade ago about the effect of a closure of a soccer-ball factory in Bangladesh (due to a public outcry in the West over the low wages and poor working conditions). The result was a sharp increase in prostitution and suicide.
