I think there's more than one thing going on here. It's not just that he lies to manipulate for his own advantage, he lies about things that don't even remotely matter. It's almost as if he doesn't understand what objectivity, or evidence-based information, even is. Like he regards anything he wants to be true, as true. And anything he doesn't, as false. And he genuinely doesn't understand the difference between that and accepting an objective fact as true, even when you don't like it. Is that a kind of mental illness, or is that a form of stupidity? Either way, it should disqualify him from the presidency, for the good of the nation, and the world.
